What stays on your device

Your checklist, quiz results and safety card stay in this browser on this device. There is no account and nothing is uploaded. The site is a set of static files: the guides, the quizzes and the grading all run in the page, and there is no server side that could receive what you do.

The skills you mark learned or want to learn, with their dates, your last quiz score per skill, the one area pinned for printing, and everything on your safety and admin card (contacts, trip plan, where documents are kept, and the dates you enter) are written to your browser's own storage for this site, using IndexedDB where the browser allows it and local storage where it does not, under names beginning with everywomanskills. If you used the site before it was renamed on 29 September 2026, your records were saved under its earlier name; they are copied once to the new names and the earlier copy is left as it was. They belong to one browser on one device: they do not follow you to a phone, they are not backed up anywhere, and nobody else can read them. Clearing site data for this site removes them permanently and immediately.

This matters for safety content. Because there is no account, there is nothing that could show someone else what you have been reading or planning. If you share a device, use a private window or clear this site's data when you finish. The card page asks you never to type document numbers, only where things are kept.

No accounts

There is no sign up, no sign in, no email capture and no password to lose. Every guide is reachable without identifying yourself in any way.

What is collected

No account, no advertising identifiers, and no analytics of what you read, tick or answer. The static host may record the request for a page, its time and a network address in its ordinary server logs, as any web server does, and may count page views in aggregate without cookies.

Purchases and access checks

No paid plan is offered at present; if one is added, this page will describe it.

Cookies

EveryWomanSkills sets no cookies of its own, and it carries no advertising or cross site tracking scripts.

Children

The site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. It asks for no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is stored or collected, the change will appear on this page. There is no mailing list to notify.

Questions about privacy go to [email protected]. Since nothing is stored on a server, most requests are answered by telling you how to clear this site's data. The checklist and the guides work the same whether or not you ever write in.
